i use sbc global dsl and i have outlook
i go to email accounts and add an account however i dont know what the incoming mail server pop3 and outoging mail server stmp should be? help??? tell me what i should put???

okay i used that and i did test account settings everything worked except for the last one which was send a email why?? how do i fix it??? thanks!!

incoming mail server is pop.sbcglobal.yahoo.com, and outgoing is smtp.sbcglobal.yahoo.com. if you have a different domain (e.g. pacbell, nevada, ameritech, etc), just change sbcglobal to that domain. you can also call tech support if you like to verify it. =)

To locate and verify your email settings in Outlook Express:

1. Click on the Tools menu in Outlook Express.
2. Click on Accounts.
3. Click on the Mail tab.
4. Select your AT&T Yahoo! email account and click on the Properties button.
5. Click on the Servers tab.
6. Verify these settings:
* For "My incoming mail server is a ____ server," the field contains POP3.
* The Incoming mail (POP3) and Outgoing mail (SMTP) fields contain the correct mail server settings.
* The Account name field contains your full AT&T Yahoo! email address (e.g., YourName@sbcglobal.net).
* The box next to Log on using Secure Password Authentication is NOT checked.
* The My server requires authentication box is checked.
7. Click OK.
8. Click Close.

To locate and verify your email settings in Windows XP:

1. Click on the Tools menu in Outlook.
2. Click on Accounts.

4. Select your AT&T Yahoo! email account and click on the Properties button.
