Wisdom comes from God Almighty...
(Psa 111:10) The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do [his commandments]: his praise endureth forever.
(Pro 9:10) The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy [is] understanding.
(Pro 1:7) The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of knowledge: [but] fools despise wisdom and instruction.

I to was frustrated with my life until I found purpose. Or Rather it found me. Contributing to the world? Why? It would be fine if done in love and kindness all the time.
(Jam 4:4) Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
(Luk 16:13) No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. (Man)

first you gotta stop putting yourself down. and know this: If you are intelligent enough to use a computer, you can learn what you don't know. That is one of our main Gifts from God.

You're only thirty... God gives us 120years... so you've plenty of time to find your niche. What helped me most was the Proverbs. Get yourself a good unabridged dictionary, and a KJV bible... start at the beginning, and work your way to the end... don't try and read it all at once... take your time and meditate on what you learn.

And remember to keep your eyes open as you go through life thereafter; for JAH will guide you. (psalms 68:4)

i believe u are at a great turning point in ur life. u know why? because you see that there is a Possibility of something good you can achieve, learn, in the future. that is AWESOME. regardless of ur past, and the bad things that have happened to you, u can still see some kind of change or hope. that is All u need to start something.

i would suggest ALWAYS seeking knowledge, to learn what is Good, Positive, Healthy, and will make you Happy. not happy in a temporary sense, like drugs or alcohol (which can be unhealthy). i mean things that make u smile, make u laugh, make you want to do what is good and right.

i'm not saying the answer is God, but this is what i learned recently and i'd like to share with you. in Romans 5-8 in the bible, (the writer was Paul), it says that once u accept Jesus Christ as your savior, you are Justified --> NOT GUILTY, of past, present AND future sins...!! so no matter what u've done, do , or will do, u are already forgiven. now, if u truly accept this, you don't have to Punish yourself anymore for the negative things in your life. and u are realizing that you do'nt Want to be negative anymore right? you want to see if there's something More, something Good in this world. therefore, once u accept this and Rejoice in this, u will realize that you are Free now. free to do what u can to continue striving for what is Good. regardless of the mistakes that u've made, u can start over, each day, and try again. and again! and again! because you are Already forgiven. people say, "oh does that mean u can just sin and do bad things all u want with no consequence?" but actually, it Doesn't mean that at all! and i realize that now, because now that i feel that i Understand Jesus' sacrifice, and how much i am thankful for it, i WANT to do good. i WANT to do what is Right, Healthy, Positive, for my life. not because i have to, but because i want to.

this is true for relationships w/ family and friends as well...! if u love your family unconditionally, no matter what they do, no matter how they treat you, u STILL love them! even if it hurts! therefore, if they change later on, it is an Awesome thing. regardless of their past mistakes, u can still accept and forgive. therefore, you have the ability to change ur future, and have hope for urself..even if u can't see what will happen, u know something CAN happen. and that's all u need to do something Good with your life. good luck, and always remember to keep learning, keep seeking what is Good and Positive for you in ur life. whether it is religion, love, family, or knowledge, whatever makes u happy and positive will lead u to good things. filter out the negatives~~
