Who ever said the Nazis hated Jews? Anti-semitism was a popular sentiment in Germany and they exploited it to help them take power.
Evil men sell people ideologies in order to take power, that doesn't mean they believe their own sales pitch.
Castro came to power in Cuba promising Democracy, he then turned Communist because it was the most expedient way for him to retain absolute power and have the Russians as his allies.
I've noticed that this is a major component of the naivete that is destroying America. Americans tend to really believe in these people, and don't have the courage to hold them accountable once they are in office and prove they are not what they claimed to be.

The first thing Nazi's did was take arms away from the public. Then they rounded up everyone that was not "pure". You should really get your facts straight before assuming that anyone is a Nazi. I don't understand where you arrogant people come up with this crap. And NO I am not a republican, I'm independant.

Because it works and the majority of the population, as you can tell from many of the answers, are completely ignorant to the fact that they are on the edge of being little more than slaves.
Especially with some of the Bills in Que right now.
Go to Http://thomas.loc.gov and look up HR 4752

Interesting the use of the "nazi" label against the Republicans when they defended Israel and the left felt Israel should just take the hezbollah attack and not respond....

If they were they did it wrong. Hitler had a 98 per cent approval rating from a vote with 99 per cent of Germans voting in the 1930's!
