I don't understand how this is a true question. Kobe has three rings and you don't hear people talking about Tracy McGrady going into the hall of fame. He may be the best showy baller in the NBA since Allen Iverson came, but his injuries and overall skills don't even compete with Kobe's. Don't get me wrong, I think he is a great player (T-MAC) but Kobe just simply is better. No doubt about it. I don't think McGrady could have led the Lakers into the playoffs had he been trading places with Kobe. Then again, Kobe probably could have done much better with the Rockets this and last season, had he been in Tracy's position. Until McGrady proves the Rockets into a formiddable opponent, there is no way he will be considered better than Kobe.
Maybe Bryant doesn't have that great a model set up since his case, but he has worked hard to improve it. Wait until his team has depth again, and the Laker glory days will come back.

As you see, Kobe wins the on-court skills hands down. I'm a big T-Mac fan, but Kobe just took things to the next level last year.

With that being said, Kobe's decision not to take over game 7 against Phoenix during crunch time was ridiculous. He was definitely trying to prove a point.

Still a great player, though.

At first, I thought that T Mac was going to be better hands down, but after last years performances I think Kobe has become the better of the two players.

T-Mac is still a daggone good baller. I would love to see a some kind of one on one match between them...that would be intense.

Can T-MAC score 81 points in one game... can T-MAC score 62 points in only 3 quarters of play...

Everybody thinks Kobe is selfish, but guess what... not only did he lead the NBA in scoring with 35.4 points a game, but he also managed to average 5 assist and 5 rebounds on a team that's not very well rounded at all.

Kobe's the best basketball player in the world. Whether everybody excepts that or not.

Kobe is a much better player than Tmac. I will give one example: This year Kobe was scoring champion of the league and he led his team to the playoffs. When TMac was scoring champion his team (Orlando Magic at the time) had the worst record in the league.
Kobe is just a better well rounded athlete on both the offensive and defensive end. And as much as people hate to admit it...he's a better team player. I say this because his work ethic and desire to win make him do what ever it takes to lead his team in hopes of winning a championship.

I will say T-Mac only because he is a team player and has a better attitude then Kobe. Kobe is a ball hogger and as azz and I don't feel he is a good roll model for young boys with his actions.

realy i would say T-mac but kobe and T-mac are a like because they can shot or drive and the only reason i say T-mac because he is litter bigger the kobe that only reason i say Tracy Mcgrady.
