I cant think of any reason why it shouldn't -- I just want to make sure it will.

BTW - yes I do have a really good reason. I wont go into it now -- but I do understand how worng it seems to use win98 on this hardware.

As long as you have 128 mb of ram then yes. Should you be running Windows 98 without a really good reason...no.

Yes, it will run fine.

However, you should be aware of some newer motherboard features that are integrated, such as USB 2.0. The motherboard manufacturer may not supply Win98 drivers. So after loading 98, you might notice a few "unknown" entries in Device Manager with an exclamation mark. You'll likely have to eat it unless you can find a compatible driver on the driver CD that came with the motherboard, or perhaps find one on the manufacturer's website.

hmm...socket A so its a celeron processor...the PC 2700 RAM info is useless as we do not know how many megs of RAM you have...however seeing how win98 will run on 64MB RAM, unless you are running a computer that was made 15 years ago, it can run win98.

I don't see why it wouldn't. It's going to scream on that hardware. Just for kicks you should install Windows 3.1.
