You should inform your manager about what happened to your cat. Maybe, next time the maintenance people will not do that again. Good luck!

What kind of an apartment is this that you leave a note to the maintenance not to let your cat out? Lock your door and she doesn't get out and how can they enter to your apartment. If they have the permission to enter, they must have the reason. Maybe they misunderstood and thought they shouldn't let your cat out of the bathroom?
Ask them why they did that and if you don't like the answer, contact the supervisor or landlord/landlady.

My mother-in-law would have ran from your apartment, some people are afraid of cats, not taking up for the maint dept but if they got a job to do and the kitten is getting in the way I would rather have it locked in the bath as opposed to accidently stepped on.
Know your surrounding

So whats the problem they put the cat in there so it wouldn't get out of the apartment. I don't know what type of work they were doing but they may have also done it so the cat wouldn't get hurt. If the cat is still alive, get over it. And next time take care of the cat yourself before they get there.

there have been some great recommendations about warm water bottles and that i might want to also propose a wheat bag, in spite of the reality that the purely ones I genuinely have had are made with lavender which i guess will be unsightly as a scent for infant. Get some low-priced delicate blankets for her to nest in (like the fleece blankets you could get from Ikea great-low-priced) or make her a suitbale resting position if she exhibits no interest in nestling into them. you could also favor to attempt an section heater to maintain a warmth room temperature, and a dropper to get water into her, or moist nutrition (mashed, or with water extra, or both) or fowl boiled down right into a broth (to provide foodstuff and water in an captivating meal) She might want to do properly to be soothed, only sit down mutually with her and talk quietly or only have her on your lap. i imagine the agency will do her psychological state a touch solid and help her get better bodily. even perchance some agency from Kale might want to help her and luxurious her. he's a better half and kept her existence. Your canines is a hero, it truly is beautiful to work out that he rescued her. some canines might want to have grew to develop into on a relations cat once injured. i do not imagine offence became meant even as it became stated to shop her in. regrettably this incident exhibits why its so not user-friendly to enable a cat out. Kale probable kept her existence even if it would not continually be the case. also, after her trauma she might want to choose the interior. solid success and that i'm hoping she recovers properly.

I have worked in a hotel that permitted pets. We did not permit our workers to enter rooms where the pet was not secured in a cage or attended by the owners to protect our associates from injuries or alllergies from the animals. I understand if they closed your pet in while they worked in the apartment, for her safety and their own, but I agree they should have opened the door up again before they left the apartment. Mention to office or landlord that you do not approve of what they did, and ask for resolution of how to proceed if you need apartment serviced again.

Yuck. I had similar issues with a landlord coming in my apartment while I was at work. Didn't have a cat though. I'd complain.
If it happened again I would get tough.
No one should be in your apartment when you aren't there. Check your lease there should be a clause in there. You have a right to privacy! You are the tenant (the customer) they need to work around you.

If they were working on your door locks your door had to be open. I am sure that they put your kitten in the bathroom so that it did not get out and get hurt. Be grateful that they were responsible enough to do this, since you were not. I am sure that they simply forgot to let it out.

get a cup of choco pudding and dump it in your hand and go down to the office and yell, "You locked my kitty in the bathroom so she left you this" and then chunk it at someone.
No wait, I'm sorry, I'm in a wierd mood. Just call them and say something about it but be polite because they know where you live.
