this is sort of an old wives tale that if you're pregnant and the man you're pregnant by dosen't "feed the baby" meaning *** inside you that the baby will be skinny have wrinkley skin and peel does anyone believe in this my mother does and she tells me all the time "is paul feeding the baby if not he needs to feed the baby i don't want a skinny grandbaby" it's said that if the man feeds the baby then the baby will be fat and full when it's born

Thats the most ridiculous thing i have ever heard. The baby gets all its nutrients from the placenta, which provides food, water, and waste removal via your blood system.
Not only is the cervix closed, but the placenta sits over the cervix, and the baby is also encased in a sac of fluid. All of which are completely closed to the outside environment.
You and your mother should be more concerned about how well youre eating and your personal health, since thats what dictates the well being of the fetus.

I really hate to tell you that your mother is wrong... but I don't think there is any truth to that. The largest baby we had (9 lb. 5 oz.) was a pregnancy with placenta previa, and the doctor ordered us not to have sex during most of that pregnancy. That little boy looked like a plump, month-old baby when he was born.
The baby is inside a bag of water. The only feeding he gets is through the umbilical cord, from your bloodstream.

Can't say that I've ever heard of that before. I mean it is semi-logical to assume that the fact that sperm is protein that it would be nourishing, but have never thought of semen as baby food. The fact that the baby gets it's nourishment via the placenta would make that impossible. Just make sure that he is capable of helping you put food on the table and feeding you directly so that you can transfer those nutrients to your growing baby.

Can't say that's popular & been in the south a very long time. Also, know a lot of folk tales, but never heard that one. Goes to show you learn something new every day.

Sorry but I never heard of this one and it's kinda funny actually. The mans sperm will never get to the baby because it is a sac filled with fluid so there is no way anything is getting in there unless you poke a hole and even thats unlikely.
LMAO

EWWW no its not true! the baby is inside the sac. Nothing is going to be able to get to it. The only thing that can get to the baby is what you pass through the placenta. Such silly wives tales....
