Also, why lose points for asking and gain for answering? I know this is called yahoo answers but there would'nt be if there weren't any questions. This is pretty much a rhetorical question but post as you may. I'm sure I'm not the only on who ponders this.

Yeah, I agree. Which is why I hardly ask and always answer. Try the stupid questions. They're fun to answer and ya get a couple of free points.
