I have not been to either place for many years but size is a factor, I would imagine. Ensenada is much larger than Rosarito Beach and there is probably more to offer there. It''s all in what you're into. I remember the Rosarito Beach Hotel being a really fun place to go and if it's still there the restaurant "El Nido" was really good.

Rosarito is where all the party goers whoop it up, a young crowd, clubs, cheap eats, decent beaches. Ensenada has become more up scale, cafe bistros, sidewalk cafes, pricey jewelry stores and restaurants. Remade for the Cruise ship people. Personally, I like Rosarito, it has the old gringo spirit, a little bit frayed around the edges,a more real Baja party town.

Ensenada... they also have a great little family restaurant near the beach that has the BEST lobster burritos!

If you are comparing beaches than Rosarito' is better.
It's a lot more livelier in Rosarito. Ensenda is nice too. Ensendad is bigger so there are more locals than tourists.

Rosirito has a nicer beach area.

rosirito beach... they have this drink that is awesome...they cut the top off a coconut then pour half of the milk out then pour rum to the top its only $10 and it gets you so wasted.
