What I always do, is the night before do a test run. I do everything I do the next morning for school pictures, that includes laying out everything I'm going to wear, from earrings to socks. And taking a shower, putting on makeup, brushing my teeth, and deordorant, so I know exactly how I want to look the next morning, and if I don't look good on the test run, I try other looks. Laying out everyhting helps me because I know where everything is and then I usually have more time to fix my hair perfectly, than put on another coat of gloss!!! Good luck

well, ive got 4 kids, and I was told to always let them wear a neutral SOLID color or either white or black. The reason is anything other than a solid color takes away from the person in the pic. You want people focused on your face, hair, etc. Next, before you take your pics.....get a last minute fix-up in the bathroom. Apply a nude-toned lip gloss for shiny lips and smear both lips together for a few minutes to naturally give them a temporary plump look. Dont over-accessorize-keep it simple like earrings and a small necklace (if you want) And last but not least...think of something really funny and give a natural smile.....people can always tell a fake smile...especially you. Good luck and I hope that helped a bit! Make sure your not being to harsh on yourself too.....maybe the pics are great to everyone else. Have a little confidence.....it goes a long way!

Go to dermatologist to work on the skin and ask photo crew if they do touch ups... If not work hard on getting a good nights sleep before the photo. Do a clean and clear regimine and make up. Get light makeup from CVS or Avon and grab a friend and let her give you a facial and a makeup lesson. Then on photo day relax and take a few cheers from the fellas on that special photo time. Prefer morning before lunch if you can.
You will be fine. Zip to the photographer after school if possible and be in a little $ to have a whole session so you will have different angles to choose from. Special if you are a SENIOR.

Mine were so bad from the photographer that did them for the high school that in my senior year my parents felt sorry for me and took me to another place to get them redone. I felt much better about that! Only in the yearbook they used the original one because I didn't look into substuting the better ones. Oh well!

Practice makes perfect. A day or two before practice your best pose in a mirror and take a picture of yourself, whichever pose is more perfect you use!
