It's a new Disney channel show about a pop singer who dresses in disguise when she is not on stage. So that she can still have a "normal" childhood.
The girl who plays her is Miley Cyrus, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus's daughter. He also plays her dad on the show.
I have 2 teenage daughters who love this show.

she is just an character played by Miley on disney channel. cuz Miley does not want to have to deal with being "famous" 24/7 so she does her singing for her fans as a different identity to protect herself partly, she is also still really young and wants to be able to do everyday things without being known she actually a famous singer.
