I got this DLink network adapter but it works fine but when i try to connect to the internet it does not work. HELP!!!!!!!!!

My dlink abapter is connecting perfectly but my internet won't work and i do not know how to solf it

Go to dlink.com and look up the manual for your adapter. You will need to go over all the settings.

What MODEL Dlink are you referring to? *IF* it "works fine" then how come it isn't connecting to the internet. WHY do you say it's "working fine"?

BTW, is it an ADAPTER or ROUTER?

Re- install (or update) the dLink firmware.

there is a re set, but it is like a info re set. you need to keep the power on and then press the re set for 10 sec. this does a complete back to square one re set. on mine , at 9 sec i heard what i thought was an electriclal sizzle-ing. but afterwards it worked fine. you will still need to go to the http://192.160..... site to config and fire wall it.

Have you tried setting your Default Gateway to be the IP address of your router? (normally by default this would be 192.168.1.1)
