I run cross country and I was wondering if there were any ways to resolve stomach and chest pains?? If so what can I do?

If you are getting side stitches while running, focus on your breathing.

Most stiches are caused by always breathing out when you land on your right foot. This pinches your stomach area between your exhaling lung and your kidney getting jarred up. Therefore, if you focus on exhaling on different strides, side stitches go away. Personally, i inhale for two steps and exhale for one. This means i will alternate which foot i exhale on. I never get side stitches and have ran for years.

when you practice do not drink too much water cause that will give you cramps. Also if you put your hands on your head it will help and breath in your nose and out your mouth. it takes a while to get used to but it helps with your running. Don't breath too fast though, breath in slow and out slow.
