Keep moving on. Consider following up with them in two to three weeks or more, but figure that one is not meant to be.

I would not wait around for them. I'd keep looking for a new job, if that is your goal. I've seen this happen a few times, and usually it means the position will no longer be available, or it will only be an option much farther down the road (like a year). They cannot expect you to wait around for a long time, and I wouldn't want to work for a company who is so disorganized or unaware of what is going on that they offered a job and then had to take it back. It doesn't portend well of where the company is going, or the leadership skills.

Start looking for another job. Just because one Opportunity is on "hold", doesn't mean your life is. Get on with it- & look for something else.

i'd ask when they might be making a decision. if you really want the job then that would also be a good time to say you'd like to know because you are really interested in the position...if they cannot answer say thanks, keep in touch...and keep your eyes peeled for another job.
