Water 1 Gal./Day per person 42 Gals=21 days for 2 people

Food 21 days x 3 meals/day x 2 people = 126 meals

Power 5500 watt generator.
110 gal. gasoline=21 days
Propane for grill & campstove
Boxes of batteries

Security Night Vision device
Infra-red motion alarms
Well armed w/lots of ammo.

Other Window AC unit
Camping equipment
BBQ pit
Solar garden lights (work great inside at night)
Life Vests
Whistle, Flares

These are a few of the preparations my wife and I undergo every year. We live in New Orleans, La. and are well prepared for anything. We have never flooded where we live, but it is always better to error on the side of caution. We recently built an outbuilding designed to withstsand 200mph winds, and high off the ground.

I'm prepared with sufficient food & water, & I'm ready to evacuate, but I'm not emotionally prepared, after my Hurricane Katrina experience.
