generally from 6 to 12 dollars an hour depending.

i live in the province of Alberta and the unemployment rate is so low, there is a shortage of workers, so even menial workers (like those at retail stores or fast food restaurants) are being paid 12 dollars and hour or more.

Trying to find rental property has become difficult though...

Your command of English seems superior, you should be just fine.

Good luck if you come over, just don't bring any hate fueled foreign ideology with you....
