In the US we don't typically get into spooky stuff except at Halloween. There is a limited population of people who would actually visit a haunted house any other time of year. But the Niles Haunted House is open all year in Niles, Michigan if you're interested in visiting. I used to live in this county.

Usually haunted houses are popular around halloween - which is when they stay open. I don't know if they would do more business having them open all year. They do great business in the fall because of the season.

The time that they get the most business is around Halloween. They don't want to waste their money keeping a place open all year if no one's going to come except on Halloween..

They have figured out how to be the most profitable. If 90% of your business is in October, why pay all the overhead costs for the rest of the year? It makes no business sense to stay open for the whole year.
