Umm....he was joking?

I don't think you have to worry about him being a pedophile or anything. Men say stupid things all the time. Maybe he was just complementing your niece. Adults can say "what a beautiful little girl" without it meaning anything. Just thank him on behalf of your niece and agree that she's a very pretty girl if he brings it up again. Otherwise, just forget about it. Sounds like a typical meaningless remark from one person to another.

Next is it going to be, "a work mate said my 3 year old niece with blonde hair is better looking than me then said he was just joking but i don't think he was what does it mean?" Seriously, how many variations of the same question are you going to ask? If anything it means he's a pedo or that you're ugly. Maybe both but, who knows. Just ask him if he's a child molestor if it bothers you that much so he'll stay away from your niece.

Either he was joking, or he really does think that your niece is better looking than you. It's stupid, if it is a joke.

he does not mean anything by saying that. he just meant that she is beautiful in a 3 year old way. guys always say things like that but really he did not mean anything. so give yourself more credit do not be jealous of a 3 year old kid i am sure that you are beautiful. DO NOT WORRY.
