And she won't be the boss forever because she's a temporary manager and someone in the next couple of months/weeks will take her place. But what do you do until then???!!!!!

Watch the movie 9 to 5 and imagine all of the ways you could kill her! Ignore her as much as possible and stay out of her way. Realize that with a personality like hers, she can't be a happy person, so she already lives the life she deserves. Play it day by and keep repeating to yourself, "She will be gone soon." And learn now NOT to be a manager by watching what she does. You can do it!

Life is too short to be miserable. However you never know what is going on in someone's life.

Kill her with kindness. Terrible way to say it, but just be nice...some people have just been kicked so much the get, well, just like you described. If you use a little tenderness and compassion you may actually help her.
