Interesting and good question.

He grimaces a lot, and can litterally grind up the value of a stock by hyping it and throwing chairs and things to catch your attention.

He's got a following, not a major following to cause a difference in the value of a stock, but enough people to at least make a stock jump or drop a point...sometimes.

Although he has strong feelings on certain stocks, the market generally will do what you don't expect it to do.

For instance, I heard an analyist say that the home building stocks are bad investments and interest rates are hurting that industry.

Instead, those stocks went up recently.

Boo-Yah...

Hey Cramer gives his opinion of the stock people ask him about. Yeah, he's a showman, yeah he can be goofy but he always says..."Tips are for waiters and do your homework".

You can't blame him if you blindly purchase a Stock he talks about.

Actually his book is very good and educational, once again you have to read what he says. You are the one investing the money...not him.

Entertaining to listen to, but I'd never trust my portfolio to a single opinion. Investments should be based on research and fundamentals.

I lost money following his suggestions. Never ever again. He is a good showman, that much I can say.
