Im pretty set on getting a tragus piercing tommorrow. Im scared though. How bad does it hurt? I have 3 tattoos and my ears pierced 2 times on the lobe and once on the cartilidge. Do you think i can handle it? Nobody answer and ask what a tragus is or say they dont know. All answers that are like that will be reported.

The initial piercing of the tragus is more painful than the cartilage of the outer ear...it's thicker and has a denser concentration of nerves. However, it tends to heal quicker with less tenderness because it doesn't protrude and therefore is less subject to irritation from hair and getting bumped.
With just about any piercing, the anticipation is far worse than the actual poke.

The tragus is also cartilage, like the upper ear, so I imagine it will feel a lot like that. It's a bit more fleshy, so there might be some extra sensitivity. I say you should go for it, I think it's groovy!

I have a friend who had her tragus pierced once. She ended up letting it go and it closed up. She told me that it hurt worse than having her tongue pierced and she almost passed out. Sorry- that probably doesn't ease your anxiety much!

I am sure that u can handle the pain. If you can get a piercing through the cartalage you can do all.
