No matter which one of you is in office, I still get terrorized by mesquitoes. It seems no matter what your policies are or what security measures you take, those little bugs still get me.

my aunt & uncle used to fish in the boundary waters by the canadian border yearly. they would start taking brewers yeast in small amounts and escalate to large amounts by the time they went, and swore they were bothered less. I've known people who have done this too & it helps. Some of the B vitamens come out in the sweat and the skeeters don't like it. I've been to many outdoor events where some people got all bit up & others didn't; it seems that if the usual diet of the person is a low fiber & high in animal products including cheezes the skeeters like that better (i.e. bite you more). And stand upwind from the BBQ smoke or that smell on your skin attracts them too
So in summary:
increase: brewers yeast supplelments & lots of fiber foods (fruit, vegetable, whole grain, dried beans)
decrease: animal products & BBQ exposure

apart from the discomfort of the skeeters, this is a good time to take this seriously with all the west nile virus around....

Call your local Health Dept. and ask if there is any on going vector control in your area. Other than that you will have to depend on your own safety measures. There are no funds for Government containment in the event of an onslaught of the dread terrorist Mosquito's! Call Homeland Security, they may respond when half your town are is sucked dry!
All other personnel are holding down a hoard of fire Ants overseas on their own turf! Otherwise the terrorist red Ants may show up in your streets, your supermarket, and God forbid, your home!
