Because nobody wants to cooperate with the police. I don't believe all cops are bad,but a lot of people do. By going to the cops,you look like a fink,and I don't believe that the people that know what happened want to look uncool. I think some of them have their reputations to think of and the rest are just plain scared.

You've answered the question. . . .society loved Lennon. . . does not like rappers because of the life they glorify or attempt to portray.
Most are fakes preaching about how much money they 've got or how many women they've screwed or how many people they've shot.
If you gotta sing about your "accomplishmnents" (and I use the term verrry loosely) who are you trying to impress ?

I guess some people know what they're doing. Not alot of people want to admit to the truth that alot of people have gotten away with murder....ALOT.
