i have 4 kids and i am a widow why do i not want to date anymore? is it because i have to much on my plate or is it just because it is to much trouble? I need Help I also have lots of grandchildren, dogs and horses

You are too busy, that is the problem. If you are ok with how your life is then enjoy it. You don't need a man around to make you happy, it helps but is not necessary.

That actually very normal. You went through alot. Some people would just crack right there. Being a grandmother, mother of 4, and a widow is a tough thing. Maybe you're just not ready. But you should try, go back and visit the old times, and see how fun it was.

Dont pay any attention to the "babies" on here. I think that you have just been on your own for so long that it doesnt interest you any more. Plus being a widow with 4 kids does take up quite a bit of your time. When you meet the right man it will click for you. Good luck.

There is nothing wrong with that. Don't buy into the notion that you have to be involved with someone to be complete. It sounds as if you have a very full life. Be happy and carry on. People rarely find love when their looking for it anyway. Just live your life and love your grandchildren. I admire you for what you handle on your own now. God Bless.

Your simply too busy! Take some time for yourself. Step back from the kids,grandkids,horses,and dogs-and think about yourself.I know it sounds selfish,but it isnt.If your content and have no desire to date-dont.However if you would like to explore the possibilities out there-then go for it! I would say that at the age you are "dating" per se is not the answer, having a relationship would be much better for you.

well, you pretty much done it all. you truly do not need others to make you happy. so enjoy, it is nothing wrong. just love your family and animals and they'll be good to you. in time IF you let it happen someone else with will have interest in you.

maybe it's because you aren't over your late husband yet.
when the time is right, you will feel it again. if you never feel it, you aren't ready.
