What makes you think that people on yahoo answers would know the anwser to this question? If you get a decent sounding anwser how do you know that they are correct. Call a doctor, that is what they are for.

Pregnancy is the first cause but stress can be a factor as well as being severly underweight. I had stress cause me to skip a period completely.

Stress, change in diet, overweight, underweight, menopause - and the most obvious - pregnancy.

Go see a doctor - regardless, it's not normal and should be checked out.

PREGNANT is the obvious one. But you can also lose your period from dramatic weight loss or weight gain, or even if you work out all the time and your body can't keep up. It is important to see a doctor.

Maybe you have very low body fat. If a women has 3% body fat, then periods may stop, also you may workout to much to cause periods to stop. Are you possibly pg?

Stress, being overweight, pregnancy, adjusting to birth control pills, and certain health problems better discussed with a doctor.

There are a lot of reasons besides pregnancy. If you skip more than a month, get it check out by a doctor.

If you aren't pregnant... it could be due to a number of things, infections, endometris or if you are on a contraceptive.. it's always beter to have it checked out by a doctor.

pregnancy, stress, extreme weight loss, menopause, but I'm guessing if you were old enough for menopause you'd know why you weren't having a period

There might be an infection or birth defect causing it or you just might be pregnant.
