Fishing line is useful for a wind chime, a mobile, or a solar system project. Not just jewelery.

Put it on a pole put a hook on it and go fishing. I have used fishing line to sew with like when i am doing hand sewing on puppets their eyes, great for buttons thing that you want to stay put also their mouth and nose shapes.

You could use beads to make a bracelet or necklace.

Use it to tie your Christmas tree to the ceiling if you have very insane cats. Not crafty, but handy. :)
