Okay well i am on the special k diet (replace 2 meals with a bowl of cearel(sp?) and snack have fresh vegis & fruits or a special K snack bar) Well today i had Cearel (sp?), A sandwich, A plate of 3-4 Cucombers & 12-16 small mushrooms in vingear and the diet has been working but for dinner tonight i had run out of milk and if i eat dry cearel (sp?) i gag so i had a serving of chicken parm but the problem is i ate like 20 vegi's and chicken parm and im still hungry and thats not normal what do i do? is it because of the diet?

I do believe the Special K diet requires some sort of protein once a day..like chicken or fish or cheese or??? You are hungry because you are not eating enough calories. Protein staves off hunger longer than the carbos that make up most of what you are eating...

Ditto. You're not eating enough calories a day. Your body is starving. But you know what? You can eat veggies (except for starchy veggies like potatoes) until you explode and it won't make you fat. It'll only make you healthy. Eat food honey, it's okay. But eat lean chicken (baked or broiled, no cream sauces), or lean fish or heck even lean pork, you can eat fat free milk products for good protein, eat lots of fruits as well and watch your fat grams (I think around 45-60 grams a day is normal), and stick to between 1500-1700 calories a day (go for the higher amount then less it by 100 calories a day IF--and only if--you're not losing weight after few weeks).

I dont think your eeating enough of the food pyramid.If you think this diet is healthy go ahead and keep doing it.But do what my mom does,let yourself eat freely on weekends and then do your diet during the week.Just dieting wont help if your trying to lose weight.Excercise alittle bit and gain muscle and youll burn the fat at the same time.

What you are experiencing is prelude to binge eating.This is why all those trick diets don't work.You deprive yourself of the things you love and you crave them and when you get that first taste you go crazy and binge until you are sick.Then oops there goes the diet.Try eating 1500 calories per day and don't deny yourself any food you like,just count your calories.

Yes it could be the diet. You may not be getting enough calories. You need a balanced healthy diet that falls in the calorie range for you specifically.

i think it's normal so from time to time (not every day) eat the food you like.You won't get fat from it if you eat it in the right amounts.
