How can I tell my dad I have a myspace after he told me no?

My dad told me no but my mom and my sis know about it.How do i tell him without getting yelled at or the crap beat out of me?

I have an Idea... don't do something he asks you not to do untill you move out. You are a rude insensitive child who thinks of nothing but herself and being as cool as the other kids. Respect your father, he would throw himself in front of a train to save you, maybe you should delet the page and never go back to that place again. Sexual deviants and predators go there to look for rebellious girls just like you... be responsible or be a victim.

First of all, think about how it would feel if some one you loved went behind your back to do something they knew you didn't like. He is just trying to protect you. My wife works in criminal Justice and she could tell you all kinds of stories about girls-and boys-who met some one on myspace or other chat/friend sites and who were abused and/or killed. I'm sure you Dad is thinking about that himself when he tells you no. Talk to him up front. Tell him you need to confess something. Say, Dad, I know you told me not to but I have a myspace site. I'm sorry I went behind your back. Tell him you understand his point of view and that he is worried about you. Then ask if you can earn his trust back somehow. Perhaps he would allow you to have a myspace if you didn't post your photo, set it to private-or friends only-and only added people both you and your dad know.
Whatever you do, don't blame your mom by saying she knew about it or said it was okay. Take responsibility for your own actions. Good luck. I Hope it works out for you.

Coming from a 47 yr old adult.. don't tell him. Your mom knows. Why set yourself up for trouble? It's not like it's a porno site or anything. It's harmless as long as you keep it that way. I wouldn't put ANY personal information on it at all like where you live or numbers or anything like that. Don't list the name of your school, local places, anything someone could figure out where you live. ALWAYS assume on the internet the person you are talking to is NOT who you think they are. If you play it that way you won't set yourself up for trouble later. The internet is where a lot of bad people look for kids. Be safe!!!

Why don't you just delete your my space account, and if your mom knows does she approve, and if she does why will she not have your back. I would say save your self and your dad the headache and delete your account.

And Doug you are so very wrong I have a my space account and not any of the things you said it was for. It Is just a place to chat and get cool graphics.
