As for Australia, Heavy falls of snow on Australia's Snowy mountains allow for winter sports . Weather in southern New Zealand, southern Argentina and especially the Falkland Islands is chilly right now. Most of the countries you mention are tropical or subtropical, so it doesn't get cold and snowy.
