As for Australia, Heavy falls of snow on Australia's Snowy mountains allow for winter sports . Freak snowfalls outside the snowys in areas that rarely see snow lead to traffic chaos and stock losses for farmers. This fall occurred on the Illawarra escarpment just west of Wollongong. Snow may fall here several times a decade, but snow that settles like this is a rare event.

Weather in southern New Zealand, southern Argentina and especially the Falkland Islands is chilly right now. Most of the countries you mention are tropical or subtropical, so it doesn't get cold and snowy.
