Not a good idea. Unless he signs away his paternity rights, he could end up sharing the baby half the time or even taking the baby away. If you really want a baby, adopt. If they won't let you adopt then there are probably good reasons you are not ready to be a parent right now. There are millions of unwanted children that need homes and millions more being aborted. Please don't bring another beautiful little person into a world where his Mom isn't mature enough to have a baby in a strong, loving relationship. Please?

You fool! There are always strings attached. It's called child support! Absolutely you should tell the individual. How about if he decided to use you for sex and withheld the fact that he had AIDS. No strings attached...just a romp in the hay!
And aside from your own selfish motives, think about the baby. A child deserves two parents who love them.
Do you watch the Maury Show? If not, you should. Almost everyday he has couples in your situation who are now fighting and mud slinging. The only loser is your baby!
Try doing an adult act and wait until you can think like an adult before you make a baby.

Do you actually think the guy will just up and give you a sperm cell just so you can have his baby...man that is kinda selfish...I'm not trying to be rude or anything...but I think if he wants to give you a child without you wanting any kind of support from him, than go for it...but you really gotta be financially stable and ready, kids aren't easy to raise; especially alone. And also if you are already in a relationship than I think you better talk to both guys at the same time and tell them how you feel and what you want and expect. Don't just try to trap one guy because you like another. That is wrong.

That's kind of wrong if you ask me. What if he wants to be in the child's life..and if you don't want strings--well a baby is NOT the way to get rid of strings...a baby is the way to add tons of strings! I would advise against it---because in time when you find the man you truly truly love you may regret not waiting for the baby to be his!

if all you want is a baby try the sperm bank...its no strings attatched. if he fathers the baby he may want to actually be the father and that would cause a tangle with the no strings

Get a grip of yourself. Is you sure you just really like him or do you luv him.It takes two to tango. Why cant you have a relationship with this guy or does he not want that.Has he turned you down before in a relationship ? What about the kid if it happened would he want to be known as the dad,you might claim or get CSA on him.It not cheap bringing up kids.Think of the child as well !!!

NO!!! you shoulden't tell him that because he'd think you we're a freak!!! and there would be strings attached he would wanna have contact with the child and the child would wander where "daddy" is I mean a father is very important in a childs life!

If you guys are more friends than anything else, and neither of you is in a serious relationship than I don't see why not!! The baby would have two parents that love him and at least like each other - which is more than most kids these days!

That depends if you wanted to go through the whole act of making the baby or if you just wanted him to jack off in a cup or some thing

No, my sister did and he said no! so, if you just want to have a baby by him, then don't tell him just do it. But, you are better to wait till you find the guy who want you to have his baby. because things will change as you get older and the baby will want to know who he's daddy is.
