they r both pretty good and r both on pretty good teems (the suns and the mavs) but overall i wood hav to go with steve nash cuz he has mor speed and a better shot. also hes canadain

Nash is easily the better player. Both are amazing but 2 MVP's on 2 years is insane. Yeah, Dirk can shoot lights out, but Nash is too good of a playmaker and hits big shots down the stretch.

well I'm a Mavs fan so you know I'm all about Dirk Nowitzki! but even if I weren't a mavs fan, I would still say dirk is the better player... he makes HUGE shots down at the stretch like in the west semi-final game against the Spurs, Dirk drove to the bucket, got fouled, made the shot at the rim and his free throw to send the game into overtime where obviously the mavs won! DIRK is just an all around amazing player!

Dirk is a great point guard. Steve has good post moves but dirk is better and quicker even though he is a little smaller than nash.

well if you're askin who's the better guard, then obviously nash because nowitzki is a forward. as for the better player, it's nowitzki, he's the best shooting big man EVER, he's the most complete seven-footer in the game today, and if you need buckets, there aren't many who are better. he's a better shooterthan nash. nash is a better passer, but if i were building a team, i would rather have nowitzki (and he's german, and his nationality obviously has so much to do with it)
