Thos are the hardest years by far! There is so much drama and backstabbing. Is it the classes or the social scene you are having problems with?
If it is the classes, get help ASAP. The sooner you get help, the better off you will be. You don't want to get behind. Talk to your teachers about your concerns and ask for extra help after school. You can call your local high school and ask if their National Honor Society offers tutuoring. It is usually free.
If it is the social scene that it bothering you, join the club! Middle schoolers can be the meanest people in the world. I have taught middle school and high school, and seventh graders have no mercy. The thing to realize is that they are all acting that way because they are insecure. Bodies are changing, and kids are fighting for their place in the social scene. It is a tough world, but it will start to get nice again in a few years. I promise!
To survive, have a good heart. Smile at others in the hallway. Find a group of nice kids who have similar personalities as yours. And don't worry about being part of the popular crowd. They are usually the meanest, and their alliances are changing all of the time. It isn't worth the effort! The social scene starts all over again in high school, so if you want to be popular, make your move your freshman year and save yourself three years of drama!
The move to middle school is a big change, and change usually just needs time. You will get used to the schedule, the school, and the teachers very soon, in just a few weeks. Just hang on and keep up with your school work, and you will find your place naturally.

The secret to surviving any challenge is not to panic. Don't allow it to overwhelm you. If you can, break it up to more manageable goals. Make it through 1 day or 1 hour, then the next hour or day... During the really tough times in my life, I made it my goal to make it through the next 15 minutes. And I had a little way to visually represent that. You can use a checkmark on a notecard, or carry buttons in your pocket and move them from one pocket to another when you survive another hour... Whatever works for you. This gives you a little sense of accomplishment and gives you something to feel proud of. And also, you see after a while that it's not as difficult as you thought. :-)

I remember middle school days....as hard as it is to believe, you will make it through. Just remember, if people don't like you, then that is there loss. After high school, all that popularity stuff goes right out the window, and you start over again with a group of people that are like you and like the same things you like.
Just hang in there, it gets better.

Just relax and take ur time. Get used 2 things. Middle school is different cuz ur at the age where it gets real important 2 get thru it so u dont mess ur life up. RELAX and have a good time and dont wry about boys or relationships just yet, cuz that will mess ur plans up big time.

im going into 11th grade...you better not have trouble now...im telling ya...give it all you got now while you can! 10th grade is the hardest following 11th grade...its the regents pressure but for middle school it was easy for me, it was usually just do your homework, and homework before anything else! and listen in class...plus homework is the same thing as studying
