In another 4-5 days.
They usually scab at about the 1 week point-- give or take a couple of days.
Enjoy!

You should just keep using the tattoo goo or whatever they gave you on it and keep it clean. It depends entirely on you how fast it heals and even where on the body AND the skill of the tattoo artist (an unskilled artist will eat your skin up with the needle while a skilled artist will not and you will heal faster) Normally they say it'll take 2 weeks for new skin to form. The scab thing- actually you don't want it to scab because when the scabs flake off it usually takes off color. If you are moisturizing properly it shouldn't scab, only little flakey bits of fresh skin might come off while you rinse it under water. My arm scabbed in places and those didn't come off for over 3 weeks. My back did not scab at all and that was healed within a week and a half. It depends on alot of things... and if its a spot you move alot vs a place that doesn't and isn't going to rub clothing. Just follow directions exactly, stay out of sunlight, don't submerge it in water.

if it dries up and scabs you are gonna lose chunks of the ink out, it should only take 2-3 days for a small tattoo to heal up if it cared for correctly, if it bigger and had lots of color 4-5 days tops, use A & D ointment on tattoos only, no neosporin, nothing else, plain old A & D ointment, a few times a day to keep it moist not messy just moist, I just read someone else mention not submerging it or getting it in the sun, thats great advice, also what was said about the skill of the artist and stuff all that makes a difference in healing time, but try your darnedest not to let it scab

it will scab up in about 3-5 days. you don't want it to dry out you want to keep it moist. I use noxzema on my tattoos, it cools the area stops the itching and helps it heal faster and make sure you keep the area clean using soap and water twice a day so it doesn't get infected.

I have three tattoos.. My tattoos didn't scab until about 3-5 days after I got them done. Make sure you try not to pick them either. I never listened to anyone and I picked at mine and I have a few "scar" spots. They're not noticable.. the artist told me they were there.. but oh well.

I reccomend using bag balm on it the stuff is the best for new tats, will keep the color looking beeautiful and will prevent most scabing and drying out. You can get it at most tattoo places or at walmart in the pet section.
Good luck with that.

mine didnt scab and dry up at all. it is better if it doesnt because you lose some color when it scabs. I used inkfix and it worked great! Keep putting whatever you're using on it, and hopefully it wont scab!
