apparently theres a new hand held from Dell which performed higher in tests.. sorry don't know the model, but it was cheaper and had a better performing browser capability.

No, Palm T3/T5 is the pinnacle of Palm's current PDA line up. TX is likely a consumer progressing from Tungsten E.

Yeah, the TX is great! I have a Tungsten E2, and my girlfriend has the TX. It's internet ready, wireless, and full color, bright, and really nice!. Go for it!
