Yes. It is dangerous from the nutrition standpoint and also from the physical standpoint of vomiting. I would see a physician.

I don't think its a good idea to be doing this when you are pregnant. It puts stress on your body and your heart and blood pressure which is not good for the baby or for you.
What you have described is a condition called Bulimia Nervosa. It is seen as an eating disorder similar to anorexia nervosa. the difference is that Anorexics starve themselves whilst Bulimics eat large amounts and then purge with vomiting or laxatives. both have really bad effects on your body.
I would urge you to see your doctor, tell them what has been happening and ask for help. you need help to get over this conditon before you and your baby are harmed by it.
Also try and get in touch with the Eating Disorders Association who can put you in touch with support groups and counsellors in your area. They will have a website which you can find through Google.
PM me if you need any extra help or to talk about this.

What would common sense tell you? You DO have some, do you not?
Your baby eats everything you do. When you eat, then vomit it up, you're depriving nutrients from your baby. The answer is YES. You should probably seek help from a licensed psychologist. Anyone who doesn't realize that an eating disorder is a bad thing (especially during pregnancy) has problems.

Stop over eating...making yourself throw up is doing more harm than good for you and the baby...maybe you should not even be pregnant if you are going to do selfish things like this.

YES!!! The baby needs the nutrients from the food that you eat. You are getting rid of them, so your baby will suffer deficiency, just like you! If it harms you, it harms your baby!

I got a tummy bug in late preg and all the puking cause my waters to break. Are you doing this intentionally? It probably won't do the baby much harm (except you'll deprive it of nurtients from your diet, which it's relying on), but you'll badly damage your own teeth- due to the acid in the sick. It's just not a good idea...

You call it "purging", not just vomiting due to overeating. Sounds like it might be a problem with you? At any rate, its not a healthy practice, pregnant or not. Please talk to your Dr about this. And please get some help and support if you need it, before your baby comes.
