I would like to know? how do I take my files from the hard drive, and install them to an external drive.?

I just bought an external drive, and they dont explane very well how to use it.

Just do it in windows explorer or my computer. Find the file on your c: drive and drag/drop it to your external drive.

Assuming its a USB or Firewire Ext HD, when you turn on your external drive your computer will see it as another hard disc.

Go to My Computer, find the second hard drive, open it, and drag any files that you would like to store, there.

Easy!

Right click on the file you want to transfer then 'send to' the ext drive,whatever it's letter is
