Please HELP! THIS IS SERIOUS!!!?

I'm going shopping in 2 hours, I need fashion advice on what to buy. I'm starting school on the 21st and just want to know what is in right now.

- jeans (bleached, no holes, holes, ripped, whatever)
- some logo tee's
-black, white, yellow, green, blue, and all other colors of cami's to match
- a few sweaters possibly with logos
-classic white or black sneakers from nike, k swiss, adidas or which ever you prefer
- shiny black flats that match with everything
- a handy fashionable messenger bag
- some tanks with rhinestones or logos on them
-headbands
-thick bangles from forever 21
- huge shades or aviators
-possible a tote

don't's
-leg warmers or leggings (last season!)
-anything with too much plaid or pattern
- jeans with paint or other random marks on them (they look better on men)
- cartoon purses (i.e. tinkerbell or hello kitty)
- tee's or tanks that have offensive messages on them or stuck up ones like "blondes have more fun" or "caught you looking at my ta-tas"
- anything with fur..like fur insides..fur trimmed hoodies..whatever it was last season

I dont know where you are from because every place has different styles but i am from New York and i would say for the fall alot of browns and golds, various color beads are a good accessory, big bags also, big sunglasses. Cowboy boots are still in style as well as tunic and kimono tops, scarves, skinny jeans, flat shoes, peep toes. If you are looking for cheap buys Forever 21 is a good place to shop and Lovemyshoes.com has some great shoes for good prices.

My cousins live in Fresno and start the same day as you.. that's cool.. um.. depending on wear you are going there are tons of things you should get, first off no matter WHAT don't get Uggs, they were barely in last winter.. and are totally out now, If you go to a mall there are tons of shops and places, get really BIG accessories, and work them. They are cheaper, so you will save money if that is an issue for you, get chunky bracelets and necklaces, also get some hoop earrings, they come in handy, also get a really really good pair of shoes, I tend to shy away from etnies because they aren't that greatly made, go with oasis or emericas. Also get some skirts, denim is REALLY now... so get some denim skirts in the blue from, not the washed out type. but get them in different washes, like dark and regular. also, get some nice shirts that accentuate your good points, got the boobs for it? go for a lower top selection, are you slim? go with longer tees and shirts, even if you aren't slim they are in now, the whole 80's rocker vibe is back. So go with that flow. cropped leggings and ballet flats go great together. have fun shopping and get everything on your list!

flip through a magazine- teen, voge, 17, whatever the fashion magazines are, and you'll see what's popular. even if u stop at a store and flip through one you'll see. i've noticed the really long, fitted shirts are pretty popular, as well as the "holy" jeans that look really worn. guess it depends where u live though, and if you're a boy or a girl (i'm talkin from a girl's view). usually whatever paris hilton or nicole richie wear usually seems to be popular too. if u go to a department store, you'll probably notice a lot of 1 or 2 styles in the jr. section, which is most likely what's "hot" right now. but most importantly, remember, only wear something YOU feel comfortable in! as long as u feel confident in what you wear, that's really all that matters.

Try enhancing your shilioutte. Buy something thats tight, a bit grown up, and COVERING. Believe me--- the guys will go for you more if they have to use their imagination. Try shopping in womens instead of juniors. Walk with confidence at school. Know not only are you dressed better, but you ARE better then all the trashy girls wearing nothing. (Just don't say that aloud).

Depending how old you are and what grade, but reds, blues and stripes are in with gold accessories. But...it will be fall soon and the colors for that would be browns, tans, navy blues and army green....so get these colors in turtle necks and sweaters or fitted tees, skinny jeans are in, and BOOTS.You have to get a pair of boots for fall :) If you have anyother questions about just ask ;)

here is what I can tell you for sure.... DO NOT BUY LEGgINGS, or anything denim for above your waist... you can never go wrong with at least 2 REALLY good (flattering) pairs of jeans... dont buy anything too tight, it shows off what you do NOT want people to notice... go with the preppy look that way you can mix and match, and you always look nice, but it requires minimal effort... stay away from tooooooo many t-shirts, and ugly shoes.... shoes are the most important part... you MUST have a few cute heels, and i am sure you have enough flip flops... dont buy any more... dont buy anything JUST because it is on sale... you will NEVER WEAR IT.... get colors that go with more than one thing, and stick with a few signature colors... dont buy every color in the rainbow then complain about not having anything but jeans to wear with it... buy dress pants ( with cuff)... banana republic is good for that... and watch tapered legs on jeans (never a good idea)

You can never go wrong with polo shirts and they go with everything. Get a few skinrts and a pair of capri's and a pair of jeans.
