All of the above.
Republicans haven't looked too good these last few years. They have really taken it on the chin. But with a Bush approval rating hovering around 30 %, I don't think that Republicans are going to have a smooth sail in the next few elections.

They have wrecked the country and only oil people and the very rich would want to vote for them. Even most rich people care about the country so most of them won't vote Republican now. The only people that will vote Republican now are the dumb ones that think Bush has done a good job. The main reason for the war in Iraq was to get Bush reelected ... war time president thing don't you know!

I'm not sure the republicans will loose big time, I think the system is tilted very heavily towards the incumbent. I do think most people who will get off their sofas to vote are tired of the inept inaction of this current government. So those who will change the government will win

keep dreaming.the dems had a chance until they threw out one of their most loyal servants in the connecticut primary because he was a man and didnt check polls to decide how to think.the dem middle and conservative wing now knows they must act now to keep their party from drifting so far left that they cease to be a major party.Prediction Leiberman will be elected as an independent and shortly after being sworn in will bolt to the gop.
