It seems that some people in DC are concerned about his recent speech, referencing "...the march of democracy from Baghdad to Beirut..." Don't you think the world is getting tired of the US trying to "export" democracy?

I'd say Bush is not merely out to lunch, he's living in some alternate reality. The rest of the world has got to be sick of our insistence at imposing our alleged values everywhere except domestically.

Not to mention that Bush's version of "democracy" is completely militant and entirely foreign to the nature of true democracy. His insane "accept-our-brand-of-democracy-
or-we'll-destroy-you" stance is greatly endangering us and further alienating us from the rest of the world. These are scary times.

As a sidenote, the interjecting of his religious views into his speeches also fails to accomplish the establishment of common ground between the U.S. and countries which either do not adhere to Western religion or which firmly believe in the separation of church and state.

Frankly, I think President G.W. Bush is back on the "sauce." Congrats America, this is what you voted for, this is what you have to live with. He's an embarassment and not capable of handling serious diplomatic efforts with "the enemy." Whoever that might be today... Let's hope that next time, the voters of this country won't be so swayed by "gay marriage, abortion and obscenity (also know as Janet Jackson's tit)" to forget about real issues like foriegn policy, health care and poverty.

I think they should import some democracy.
because it seem that the President
sees the Constitution as an obstacle to his excutive powers.
he swore to uphold the Constitution, and instead upholds his own powers....

He is out to lunch and wont be back for week or two.....gone golfin.

Bush has been "out to lunch" since he was Governor of Texas and probably before that!

He's been out to lunch for both of his terms, let's give him a permanent lunch break.
