We are still there because we have a commitment to the Iraqi people. We entered the war on a lie. Now we have to follow through. If we leave before the Iraqi government can stand on its own we will garner more resentment in the region. We will never be seen as people of honor in a region of the world where honor is everything.

As long as dead US soldiers are being sent home from Iraq, I would say yes, the US is still at war.
Not at war with Iraq but at war with the little bastards blowing themselves up.
