how can americas be proud of a country where most people dont even have health care

They don't care about health care. They care about having the most money and the strongest military. To them this is great.

The USA is great because we are not what our government is. Many Americans do not share George Bush's views. We get to do many things, such as protest against the government (freedom of speech), and write articles against the government in the newspaper(freedom of press) and other freedoms. We have the strongest military in the world. The only country who's military is close to ours is China. We spend about ten times more money in our military then China does. We are also the richest country in the world, with people such as Bill Gates, Donald Trump, and Warren Bufett among our many rich people. Most Americans live in Middle Class houses. I have a perfect life. I live in a pretty big house, I get most of what I ask for. Many people in America get a lot of what they ask for, even if its a good thing. We also have a strong police system. Our government invests mostly in our military and our police system. Our police system is having a war on drugs. They have the ability to run advance, undercover drug busts and other arrests. We do have great healthcare, by the way. Many people say we have the most advanced medical system in the world, the only close country is once again, China. We have the most advanced technology in the world, most people can't deny this. This great technology is what we use in hospitals. We also invented the nuclear bomb, thanks to smart Americans, such as Einstein. We invented the lightbulb along with millions more of inventions. We are getting more advanced every single day. What about the government of France. They didn't help us in Iraq, but their people are alright. It is wrong to judge a country based on its government. We are the world's only superpower. The next superpower is said to
be China and India, but we still will be great.

Hmmmm-- that is such an excellent question I do not know where to start.
Since you must mean to compare against the average of the rest of the world lets try this:
Freedom, democracy, an open society, good standard of living, low unemployment, opportunities for eduction, available healthcare, culture, and power.
Finally I do not know why I wasted my time with this, obviously you do not fully understand the United States or the values of our society. If I attacked whatever country you are from you would likely fly off the handle.
Why dont you ask the million or so immigrants to the US why they come to such a lousy country.
PS-- What is so great about universal healthcare? I do not want my family to get euthanized.

Well from the approval ratings I guess you are referring to a 26% (more or less) of the population. Which leaves a vast majority wanting to impeach him. The only problem is that by the "vote" of ignorants he has gain control of the senate, congress, supreme court, and off course executive branch. With a little common sense you can see that no motion of impeachment would go too far. then with the help of 9-11 he himself took absolute power with the patriot act. After that what's left for people to do against that power. He clearly said if you are not with me you are with the enemy. That sealed the deal. So I agree I don't know how 26% still supports him.

The greatness of our country is that even with the worst president in history ruling us we are still OK. We have the best economy the most powerful army and the most advanced technology base. That is called national stability based on a democratic republican governing philosophy. Without the check and balance we will be in real trouble. If Bush was ruling any other country that country will be in serious trouble. So it will get better when we get a better leader in office that know what they are doing. In the mean time just sit tight and tough it out.

We'd have health care if Liberals like you wouldn't be creating stupid programs that support stupid ideas that we citizens have to pay for!!
gw bush has done a world of good for this country and if you would get your head out of sand you would realize that. He has stood up for the good of this country and slammed down on those who threaten what we have here!! I am PROUD!!! I am proud that we have a leader that has the balls to do what ever is necessary to protect me and this country and even the unappreciative morons who think that chocolates, flowers and a little coffee will make the terroists back off...
This country is great and we know it is bc ppl like you are aloud to bash the country they live in while many other countries would have you shot!

There are so many things wrong with America, but there are plenty of countries that are so oppressed you will never even hear of their problems. If I had to go and live in Liberia, Uzbekistan, Somalia, Turkmenistan or the U.S for example, I know which I would choose. If the U.S is such a mess why do so many people want to live there? (I'm not American) It's a good question with no simple answer.

would you rather have Canada's health system? where people have to wait 5 hours in the emergency room, and it is almost impossible to get adequate health care? America is great: we are the most free country in the world. We saved democracy in WWII. We provide billions of dollars to third world countries.

Its Phony Representative Government all three branches of Government not just the Executive branch oh and the World Corporate Ruling Class that is screwing the masses worldwide, if we were smart we would realize that the radical Muslim's are the only one's with balls enough to stand up and fight with what ever they have! This Country is still great, and all ways will be, its Clowns like Bush in office that makes the Government and country look bad...........hey Katie, go visit some old folk homes, and see what Bush did for them, than talk about what he has done....like NOTHING
