We used to make people famous because we liked them. Now famous people are showing us we like them BECAUSE they're famous.
Wealth and partying doesn't give you a right to attempt to be worshipped as a pop idol.. but then again, in this country being rich usually means you can pass anything off as worthy art..

I don't go for the stuff all the kids go for (I'm nearing 50) but I heard her sing and she's actually a good singer. So I think it depends if the music she composes (if it's her's) is good enough or not.
