My GP has been flirting for some time, sending me mixed signals (eg not wearing his ring or on the wrong hand, constantly touching me etc)

I notice that when I hold my kids to be examined, he tells me to leave them on my lap and he comes in really close and puts his legs around mine and his hands are on mine and his head is practically on mine - he is so close I can smell his shampoo.

People are saying that we are having an affair as he lets me make any appts I want and apparently when I call he will call me back first and sometimes I am the only one whose call he returns.

He stares into my eyes so intensely that I feel uncomfortable at times as I feel he is sending me a message that he wants more and the only thing that is holding him back is that he is my dr and wants me to make the move.

He always teases me sexually (sexual innuendos). Like I said he gets so close I can smell his aftershave, gum etc.

Is this inappropriate? What can I do????

You should start using a different doctor. Even if you're misreading signals and everything he's doing is entirely innocent, the fact remains that he makes you uncomfortable. And we're so vulnerable when it comes to our doctors, you shouldn't ever feel uncomfortable if you can avoid it.

Change physicians.

It relies upon on the area. you haven't any longer given us any info approximately what the well being practitioner did. are you able to coach that he acted inappropiately? replaced into his movements open to a faux effect on your part - or did he do some thing undesirable. possibly he miscommunicated his intentions and you took his movements the incorrect way. those variety of issues could be seen. you may desire to make a effective case to be sure that human beings to take you heavily, which would be complicated given the actuality that a sturdy case for dismissal can't be outfitted around circumstantial data in basic terms.

change doctors!!

It sounds as if you want something to happen too. I dont know your family situation but it sounds like going down that lane would be stepping on thin ice..

also if he's doing this so freely with you how do you know he hasn't done this before with someone else and will do it again with some after you?

If he is married and/or you are not interested, then this is inappropriate.
