If you stay in a hotel in the historic center of AMS, you don't need a night bus. After all, the center was developed in a time there were no means of transport, so if you want to go to something after midnight and go back to you hotel in the center, it will not really be a long walk
If you want to know how to go using public transport from anywhere in Holland at anytime to any other place in holland, see the website. They'll tell you how to go from your dance pary (or whatever) to your hotel at four o' clock in the night.
