i own a deli, im by a community college campus and on the outskirts of downtown. How and where do i network?

i figure there are some smart people here so i would like to know what is the best way and how to network with people or other businesses

start with a marketing technique, like having a special sauce that no one has, or a fabulous mocha java that is out of this world. Try the word of mouth it travels faster than lightning, then make brand new colorful and wacky fliers that catch the eye. Flash is cash. You might not want to but, give a deal. people love bargains that includes young college trends.

Call you local YMCA or even the city hall and see if they would be interested in opening an account with you. This way they can order you food for the next event that they hold.

when u say networking, that usually means u want to know other profesionals. if it's that, then join your local chamber of commerce, or better business bureu.

if you want to find more customers, then market to the community college. pass out flyers there. see if you can cater to the business' in downtown. pass out flyers there too. give them menues. have those college kids who are majoring in business intern for you. you can have them do marketing. they'll help you find what typs of people you can target.

hire an accountant to help you sort out your financial situations. are you spending enough on advertising? are you spending too much on utilities? stuff like that will help you gain better perspective of where your business stands.

word of mouth is the best form of advertising. treat your customers GREAT!
