Geez....the guy asked for techno, not some half-baked dance crap. :P
The one guy above is right to check out Front 242 although I would have said they were 80s techno (and I would say almost all techno in the 90s and today is influenced by them and a couple other pioneers).
Some other 90s greats were Prodigy (Voodoo People but anything off MfaJG is good), Underworld (Born Slippy), CJ Bolland (The Prophet), Brainbug (Nightmare), and if you are into happy raver techno you need Scooter (Move Your @$$, Hyper Hyper). Start there and it should lead you to many other similar bands.
Enjoy....I will as I've now pulled out some dusty CDs in my collection. ;)
