Tried to get one of their dishwashers online once. Nightmare. The companies advertising Smeg products were, in effect, nothing but brokers and didn'y have any actual stock.
To cut a long story short, they failed to deliver and were extremely unhelpful and obstructive on the phone. Would not take any responsibility....
Never got my dishwasher.
(Went to Comet and got an AEG which I'm very happy with).
Would not even try getting a Smeg anything again.

I've never used one, but my partner reckons it's cool (no pun intended) cos he's a HUGE Red Dwarf fan, that's the only reason we'd get one, they do seem quite good though from what I've seen of them :)
