The spelling, grammar, syntax and general lousy writing style on the internet has become such the norm, should we continue to just allow it or demand better English skills? I mean, it's BASIC SPELLING for crying out loud. You're posting it on the INTERNET for THOUSANDS of people to see. Don't you CARE that you only spelled TWO out of 100 words right? They even give you a chance to FIX any spelling errors you made in the "review", still TONS of mistakes. People, I can't speak for everybody but I don't give much or any credit to a post that is sloppy and mispelled so badly I can hardly read it. Take 10 SECONDS and fix your posts!!!

Thanks I feel much better.

Arrogant and too anal. That's my diagnosis for you.

You should relax more and not let the little things frustrate you.

Yah, well, not everyone can be smart like us... This is why we will rule the world one day! BWAAHAHA

But seriously, I agree with you about the quality of writing/spelling/grammar and the like; although I think that most people simply do not possess the skills to even figure out what they're doing wrong. I get compliments on my communication skills all the time - but English isn't even my native language. I don't really know what goes on in American schools... They must be permanently on recess or something.

I used to think the same way but I have come to realize that English grammar isn't every members first language and the way many respond is from text messaging so much that they abbreviate so much....for some its a language barrier and others just getting to lazy to spell it out...but lets not hate about it.

No no, just kidding. I agree with you and all. Is anything going to change though? Not likely. Yahoo, and places like Yahoo, is a great big melting pot of 14 year olds that don't know any better, 20 year olds that just can't spell, and 60 year olds who can't type and think it's 'hip' to type out words in a single letter.

I sometimes wonder about those people. I wonder how many hamburgs they flipped in the day or how many shopping carts they have retrieved. Clear written communication is a starting point for any job that pay a semi-decent wage.
I am afraid that these people are going to breed someday and make more idiots.

I am so happy to see that someone else feels the same as I do. Tell them off... I bet that if you order to people in US to hand write a page long letter they will not be able to grammatically write it correct even 1/5 of it.

first off, youre in the wrong topic area. second off, who cares. if you really have a problem with it ignore it. your post isnt gonna change anything. people have gotten used to it and it has become the norm. call it a written slang if u will. no one is forcing you to do it so if u wanna type grammatically correct then go for it but if you dont, o well. its america (if ur in america) that protected in our constitution

I agree!!!! It's a sad, stupid world we live in if the posts on here represent a cross-section of the general public.

I totally agree. Usually I write a smart *** comment to them about their spelling, and I bet anything that these people don't even get it, they really believe they are spelling correctly. FOOLS!

I don't know about anyone else but I don't have the spell check anymore when I give answers. Anyone else have this problem?
