Well don't be mean back to her, that is just going down to her level. Try and be as nice & friendly to her as possible and see what happens.
Say to her really sweetly, 'how are you today?' and just always be reeeaaalllly nice. That'll probably confuse her & throw her off course.

Why does everyone in the bus hate you?... What have you done wrong?...are you too shy or too stuck-up?
Unfortunally in the school system there's no room for you to defend yourself. If you strike this mean girl... you are the one that's gonna get in trouble... A BIG TROUBLE.
So, if everybody in bus hates you, ask your parents to arange some kind of private transportation for you. That'll be the best way to avoid serious problems.
Talk to your parents about your problem, talk to the bus driver, and if that does not help, then have them file a complaint to the transportation Dept. A witten complaint. The bus driver should be the first one to put a stop to this.

Don't let others know what is going on between you two. The more you ignore her, you'll try to walk out of the conversation in which she is a part and thus stand as an odd-man-out and that will make people form bad impression about you.
On the contrary, smile often. Talk to others, communicate freely. Don't nurture the thought of ignoring her and eventually you'll fool her guessing the reason for your happiness. Just try it..

well your not going to make her jelouse pluse that's not the way to do it!
1 of 2 choices i give you 1 will get you into trouble with school and parents... 2 choice you won't do
1. Kick her but! work out for a month or so and hang out with some guy friends and practice fights. do light weight training and get ready to fight! if you do this 1 of 2 things can happend if you win you can not get picked on be cause people see that you don't put up with that stuff or 2 they want to watch you fight more and more just for something to do
2. be really nice to them when they insult you say why thank you that means so much to me... don't me a smart as about it just be nice! trust me it kills peoples souls!!! or you can question it when she insults you say do you know why that is make her think about what she is saying and answering changes are she will just laugh but then go sit next to her and say how can i change that what do you recomend your smart pritty <-- good boost of ego makes them feel like they are better then you! and ask her what you need to do to not get picked on but not in that excat way!

I think your moms right. Do you really think finding a way to insult her is going to help the problem? It proabably will just cause more tension between you. I don't know why everyone on your bus hates you but if you play it cool, things should get better. If you are nice, people are more likely to like you.

If she insults you and it’s is funny, just say “That’s a good one” and drop it. If she insults you with the same line more then once, just say “It was funny the first time I heard it”. If anyone asks why you’re not insulting her back, just say that you “feel sorry for her”. Trust me it will drive her crazy if you act like you don’t care or even worse, just pity her a little (like you would if a little kid was trying to put you down)

If she's good at the insults you probably dont want to play her game. She will be better at it then you. She will find ways to turn what you say around and make you look stupid. Your mother is right. Ignore her. Your best revenge is to let her think it doesn't bother you.

You will always meet some people you don't like, it will happen your whole life long. I think your mother has a good suggestion, ignore her, walk past her without looking, and behave as if she would not be there at all.
