She continually stares (more like glares) at me, and I do know it's because she is trying to intimidate me (there's a history here). So far, I have been ignoring it, and her, the best I can - but part of me wants to either stare back at her until she gives in, or give her something to stare at like a funny face. Should I not give her any response or give her a response that says 'I won't put up with this?' Please help!

If all she's doing is glaring/staring, then there's not much to do. Since she is not interfering with your work, simply continue to ignore her. Attention is exactly what she wants, and by ignoring her, you are establishing that she is not worth the time or effort. Do not stoop to her level, or things may escalate, and you will find yourself in trouble with the boss.

THIS IS OBVIOUSLY CAUSING YOU SOME ANXIETY....YOU ARE CONCERNED BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO TAKE IT....

So you feel intimidated. Maybe she is just daydreaming about you. Maybe she wants you. Maybe she is jealous of you. Maybe you are the most interessting thing there to look at.....

Just assume that she is thinking of you in a favorable light. Approach her casually, and say something like "I saw you looking....do you think this shirt works for me?" Or "Do I remind you of someone you once knew?" Or "What do you think about when you look at me?" or "Does this make me look fat?" (jokingly)

You must have some insecurity if you assume that she is thinking negatively, aggressively, or unfavorably. Don't let it become a power struggle.

Maybe she doesn't even realize it, so if you throw the ball in her court with an inquiry, you not only call her out on it, but also give her an opportunity to explain it.

Don't say anything mean, embarrassing, or aggressive. That would only tell her how inscure you are.....

I'm sorry but I'd confront her directly and ask her if she has a problem. Why let her intimidate you and play stupid, immature games?
This way she would know you can't be intimidated.

Kill her with kindness. When you see she's staring, just give her a little smile and carry on with your business.
